Huayhuash, Peru

High in the Peruvian Andes, lies the Huayhuash Mountain Range, a massif filled with snow-capped 6,000m peaks and beautiful valleys. The Huayhuash trail traverses much of this, connecting valleys through passes higher than most mountains in the world. In 2025 I did part of this trail and had the privilege to spend five days walking through these mountains, trying to capture their beauty and their scale.
