The Cordillera Real is a mountain range in Bolivia, known for snow-capped peaks, glacial lakes, and dramatic landscapes. It stretches northeast of La Paz and includes some of the country's highest and most iconic summits. In 2022 and 2023, I was part of back-to-back expeditions to the Condoriri Valley to climb Tarija and Pequeño Alpamayo. In 2022 we then traveled to Huayna Potosí, one of the most famous 6,000m summits of the mountain range. In 2023, the second half of the expedition took us to Sajama and finally Illimani - this second half is pictured in a separate album.
