Chingaza, Colombia

Nestled high in the Eastern mountain range of Colombia lies Chingaza National Park: a vast expanse of Paramo - a beautiful but endangered ecosystem responsible for over 80% of the country's drinking water. It's endemic to tropical high mountains, and over 50% of the world's paramos are located in Colombia.
